The Service and Picnic in the Park

One hundred twenty-four Episcopalians and Lutherans gathered in Brooks Park on July 22nd for a joint service, a cook-out, fun and games, and relaxed conversation for all. St. Peter's has already offered to host a a similar event next year, at which they hope to win the Golden Sneaker captured by Christ Church's Kickball Team this year!

So many people helped to make the event a success ! Special thanks go to Betty Decker, Elizabeth Salome, Barbara Malin, Beau and Sid Coursen, Tom and Jen Rioux, John Platanitis, Father Mac, and too many others to name, who helped plan for the event, set it up, and carry the food, chairs, and all the other necessary items back and forth from the church. The Town of Harwich, particularly Cynthia McGalliard, assisted us in having a great time.

Thanks be to God for the perfect weather _for what may become an annual summer event for Christ Church and St. Peter's !
